We adore Marla by Manos del Uruguay; a beautifully soft, lofty marled yarn that is an absolute pleasure to work with. As you knit or crochet, the colours bloom and shift in surprisingly delightful ways, creating depth and movement with very little effort. It’s one of those yarns that feels quietly magical on the needles.

The yarn is created by hand-dyeing two different multicoloured strands, which are then twisted together to form a truly unique marled effect. Once you start, you won't want to put it down!

Marla is hand dyed by women artisans in Manos del Uruguay cooperatives in the Uruguayan countryside, supporting fair trade practices and sustainable livelihoods.

Suggested uses: Each skein of Manos Marla goes a long way, making it ideal for one-skein projects such as hats, neck warmers, cowls, or mittens. Amazingly soft and snuggle against skin. It's super light, lofty and soft, and we love using it for our winter woollies here in Tasmania!

Care Instructions: Marla is a superwash yarn. Either hand wash, or wash in a gentle machine cycle on cool with wool detergent. Do not agitate, squeeze or wring. Press out excess water if required and dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
