Gorgeous silk and cotton blend yarn with the ultimate softness, texture and drape. A handpicked Fleur Cottage favourite, Papyrus is one of our most popular yarns. 

Papyrus yarn is very versatile; cotton and silk combine durability, breathability and strength. It wicks moisture from the body and is an excellent summer yarn. Unlike woolen yarn, it doesn't have stretch, and it has a somewhat 'slubby' texture which gives it a lot of interest. You can work it up fairly flatly with knit stich, or use textured knitting or crochet stitches to enhance the texture. The choice is yours!

Suggested uses: Papyrus is excellent for knit and crochet projects where structure is desired, like filet crochet, granny square bags, cushions and homewares. We've seen it knit up into sweaters, scarves and luxury baby blankets too. It's a perfect all-rounder, a favourite go-to yarn, and we love having it in our stash!
